The Mia is a balconette: the cups sit wide and horizontal rather than closing in at the centre, which lifts without pushing together. The cups themselves are smooth, and a deep band of scalloped lace runs below them and around the ribcage.
Underwired and lightly padded, with fine adjustable straps. The longline band spreads the weight across a wider area instead of concentrating it under the bust, which is what makes it comfortable to wear all day.
