The Elena set works in two tones: Chantilly lace laid over a mesh base in a contrasting shade, so the pattern reads clearly instead of disappearing into the fabric behind it.
The bra is a balconette, cups set wide, with the lace finishing in an eyelash edge along the top and a 24k gold-plated charm at the centre. Underwired and lightly padded.
The knicker carries the same two-tone construction, with the lace edge following the line of the hip rather than cutting across it. Because that edge is soft rather than hemmed, there is no firm band pressing into the skin at the waist.
